Who’s behind this 4x4 tour in Raiatea?
Passionate about the sea and nature, I have dedicated my life to exploring and sharing the beauty of the islands and lagoons in many different ways. An experienced seaman, I have spent years working as a captain, kayak guide, sailing instructor, and diving instructor, guiding nature lovers through the crystal-clear waters of French Polynesia — which has welcomed me since 1991 — while sharing my passion for discovery and the preservation of its natural treasures. I also enjoy hiking — several thousand kilometers throughout my life — which allows me to experience landscapes from another perspective.
A Strong Connection with Nature
Coming from a family of farmers, I grew up with a deep respect for the land. Food self-sufficiency was already a passion of my mother’s — something that should be a guiding principle in Polynesia, where almost anything can grow!
Trained in beekeeping and permaculture in New Caledonia and French Polynesia, I have been practicing these activities for more than 10 years. Today, I want to share my passion for local biodiversity by creating this 4×4 tour in Raiatea, offering an immersive excursion that reveals the island’s hidden treasures and its incredible potential…

Each excursion is an invitation to discover its natural and cultural wonders while meeting the people who bring this land to life.
Discover Raiatea from a Different Perspective
After spending many years sailing and sharing the beauty of the islands from the sea, I decided to create Hava’i Tour to combine my passions and my desire to reveal what lies inland. In this project, showcasing the island’s local agricultural richness is especially important to me. I want Hava’i Tour by 4×4 to embody sharing, a spirit of adventure and discovery, authenticity, and a different vision of the island through unique excursions.
