The “Raiatea Immersion” tour takes you on a journey to discover the island’s cultural and artisanal treasures, as well as its local agricultural products.
The itinerary may vary slightly depending on the season and weather:
- Pearl farm: discover the secrets of Tahitian pearls
- Taputapuatea Marae (UNESCO World Heritage Site): dive into Polynesian history
- Visit of a fa’apu (traditional Polynesian garden) inspired by permaculture, a local honey farm, and demonstrations around coconut uses
- Seasonal local products (fruits, tamanu, moringa…), with tastings of honey, fruits, and local juices
Enjoy the insights of a passionate guide, who will share the essentials of the island’s culture, nature, and local know-how, in both French and English.
This tour is perfectly suited for cruise passengers during a stopover, as well as for travelers with limited time who still want to experience the highlights of Raiatea.

Enjoy a live coconut demonstration, from husking to tasting, and see how it plays an essential role in everyday Polynesian life. You will also visit a local honey farm, discover the secrets of Raiatea honey production, and taste it along with fresh seasonal fruits and vegetables grown on-site.

Uturoa Ferry Terminal – Downtown waterfront / Raiatea – French Polynesia
For cruise passengers, we will be waiting for you with a “Hava’i Tour 4×4” sign:
- In front of the ferry terminal if your ship is docked
- At the shuttle drop-off point if your ship is at anchor
For non-cruise passengers, please meet in front of the Tico Pearl shop at the ferry terminal.
