1. Purpose
These Terms and Conditions of Sale (TCS) govern reservations and participation in excursions offered by Hava’i Tour, an operator of cultural, craft, and agrotourism excursions in Raiatea.
Any reservation implies full and unconditional acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
2. Services Offered
Hava’i Tour mainly organizes:
- cultural and artisanal 4×4 tours,
- agrotourism visits,
- half-day or full-day excursions,
- experiences that may include meeting local producers or stops subject to agricultural and weather conditions.
The program may vary depending on:
- the availability of local partners,
- weather conditions,
- road or agricultural track accessibility,
- the rhythm of agricultural activities (harvests, production cycles, scheduling constraints).
Hava’i Tour reserves the right to adjust the itinerary in order to ensure safety and the quality of the experience.
3. Reservations
3.1 Reservations via external platforms (e.g., Viator)
Reservations made through third-party platforms are subject to:
- the booking conditions,
- payment methods,
- cancellation policies,
specific to the platform.
Hava’i Tour cannot modify these rules.
3.2 Reservations via the Hava’i Tour website
No online transaction is made directly on the website.
Submitting a reservation form generates a booking request.
Availability must be manually confirmed by Hava’i Tour.
A confirmation will then be sent by email.
Hava’i Tour may request additional information to validate the reservation (number of participants, pickup location, special requirements, etc.).
4. Prices and Payment
4.1 Reservations via external platforms
Payment is made directly through the booking platform, according to its own conditions and pricing.
4.2 Direct reservations
No deposit is required online.
The displayed price may vary slightly depending on currencies and the daily exchange rate. The final price applied on site will be rounded to:
- 8,000 XPF per person for the half-day tour
- 18,000 XPF per person for the full-day tour
Payment is made on site on the day of the tour:
- Cash
- Credit card
In some cases, a bank transfer may be requested, particularly for:
- groups,
- higher amounts,
- specific requests.
In such cases, banking details will be provided after reservation confirmation.
5. Pricing
Prices are expressed in CFP francs (XPF) and include all services listed.
The displayed price may vary slightly depending on currency exchange rates. The final price applied on site will be rounded to:
- 8,000 XPF per person for the half-day tour
- 18,000 XPF per person for the full-day tour
Hava’i Tour reserves the right to modify its prices, but confirmed reservations will retain the original agreed price.
6. Cancellation
6.1 Cancellation by the customer
Free cancellation up to 24 hours before the tour departure time.
Less than 24 hours before the tour or in case of no-show:
→ 100% of the amount is due.
For reservations made via external platforms (OTA), the platform’s cancellation policy applies.
6.2 Cancellation by Hava’i Tour
The excursion may be cancelled or rescheduled in case of:
- unfavorable weather conditions
- inaccessible roads or agricultural tracks
- technical issues
- insufficient safety conditions
- unavailability of a key partner (producer, artisan, etc.)
- minimum number of participants not reached
In case of cancellation, Hava’i Tour will offer:
- rescheduling to another date when possible,
- or a refund according to the booking method.
7. Program Changes
Some stops rely on real agricultural activities (fa’apu farms, honey production, producers, gardens).
These may vary depending on:
- the season
- weather conditions
- the rhythm of agricultural activities
- farmers’ or artisans’ operational constraints.
Hava’i Tour may adjust the itinerary at any time for safety or experience quality reasons, without entitlement to a refund.
8. Participation Conditions
8.1 Minimum age
Standard minimum age: 6 years old.
An exception may be granted upon request only if:
- an appropriate child restraint system is provided by the parents (car seat or suitable device),
- the child can be transported safely,
- the day’s conditions allow it.
The operator remains the sole decision-maker.
8.2 Health and physical condition
Participants must be able to:
- board a 4×4 vehicle
- move on natural or uneven terrain.
If in doubt, it is the participant’s responsibility to consult a healthcare professional.
Any medical condition or special requirement must be communicated before reservation confirmation.
8.3 Vehicle accessibility
The vehicle is not suitable for:
- people with severe mobility limitations
- wheelchairs
- individuals requiring specific assistance.
Please contact us beforehand to verify compatibility before booking.
9. Liability
Hava’i Tour holds the professional insurance required in French Polynesia.
However:
Participants must follow the guide’s instructions.
Hava’i Tour cannot be held responsible for:
- damages caused by reckless behavior
- loss or theft of personal belongings (phones, cameras, bags, etc.)
- consequences of undisclosed medical conditions affecting a participant.
10. Personal Data
Personal data collected during reservations (name, email, phone number, number of participants, etc.) is used solely for:
- reservation management
- communication with the customer
- legal obligations related to invoicing.
No data is sold or transferred to third parties outside legal requirements.
11. Applicable Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws applicable in French Polynesia.
Any dispute will be brought before the competent courts within the local jurisdiction.
